Seven Pillars of Faith Theological Seminary Training
1. Faith: FTS was founded by Faith for the Faith. "Without faith it is impossible to please God" (Heb11:6).
2. Truth: FTS stands squarely on the truthfulness of the Bible. Jesus said: "Thy Word is truth" (Jn 17:16).
3. Scholarship: FTS maintains high standards of Christian scholarship. "Study to show thyself approved unto God... rightly dividing the Word of truth" (2 Tim 2:15).
4. Vision: FTS stands for the defense of the historic Christian Faith. "Where there is no vision the people perish" (Prov 29:18).
5. Leadership: FTS trains leaders for the Twenty-first Century. "Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear" (1 Pe 3:15).
6. Service: FTS trains for service at home or abroad. "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matt 28:19-20).
7. Relevancy: FTS trains its students to meet the needs of the hour. "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mk 16:15).
